3. Flat in Brighton, East Sussex – Acoustic Wall

Background: Client’s bedroom wall adjoined the lift shaft and neighbour’s bathroom, the noises from which kept her awake. An independent acoustic wall was proposed which entailed modification to a fitted wardrobe on an adjacent wall.

On completion, the client wrote: “Thank you so much Gordon. What a brilliant job. It has worked – not completely silent but so much better, in fact the whole flat seems more quiet.
Chris and Thomas were absolutely brilliant, I have never known such wonderful workers. I had a very unfortunate experience a couple of years ago with a rogue builder, but you and your two tradesmen have given me back my faith in mankind. Chris has done a brilliant job on redoing the wardrobe cupboards using the original doors too and they were both so neat and tidy and cleaned up brilliantly. I can’t speak highly enough of them.
Thank you again Gordon for a job very well done.
Helen”
